City Sports Complex Multipurpose Sports Arena Maria Lenk Aquatic Park Sports Complex Sports City (in Portuguese Esportivo Cidade dos Esportes Complex) is a sports center located inside the Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was built by the Prefecture of Rio de Janeiro to host some of the modalities that were fought in the 2007 Pan American Games. Three large buildings were built, the Rio Multipurpose Arena for the competitions for basketball and gymnastics, with a capacity of 15,000 people, the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park a center for swimming, synchronized swimming and diving or jumping with a capacity for 5,000 people and the Barra Velodrome to play cycling and speed skating can receive 1,500 spectators.
