The National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts proposed a scholarship to Tisch School of the Arts of the University of New York, but she decided to continue her career in acting, moving to Los Angeles after finish high school. In those near coming years, her work on some low-budget films (like Kraa! The Sea Monster and Planet Patrol) and television productions (he won rave reviews for Sharing the Secret). His first major film was White Oleander, a film adaptation of Janet Fitch’s novel, in which he shared with Michelle Pfeiffer film, Robin Wright-Penn and Renee Zellweger. Alison’s performance was highly acclaimed by critics. His next job was Matchstick Men, directed by Ridley Scott in which starred opposite Nicolas Cage and Sam Rockwell. That same year he starred in Tim Burton’s Big Fish, the film was a worldwide success, which helped to strengthen further in Hollywood.Later filmed The Big White, with Holly Hunter, Tim Blake Nelson and Robin Williams. In 2006 he worked in Delirious, an independently produced comedy-drama in which she starred opposite Steve Buscemi.
