More than 40 French are this week at Almansa in school exchange program of the Institute Sculptor Jose Luis Sanchez of the city. They arrived last Wednesday from the town of Aubusson in France and will be in town until next Tuesday Almanse as. Spanish students of the third and fourth courses of ESO visited the neighboring country in March, where they saw the famous Aubusson tapestries which is known as the Capital of the Tapestry in France and other nearby towns and landscapes. They were eight days of fun, cultural exchange and learning the French language and French students now will return the visit. This is the third exchange between Spanish and French sculptor makes the Institute Jos Luis S nchez, since before the success they had earlier Spanish trade with the French town of Saint Medard, this year both students and teachers have wanted to repeat. French students, accompanied by three teachers, these days staying in the homes of Almanse as students who participated in this activity and have visited this week Albacete, Almansa Windfarm, Jijona and Elche and have also attended some classes with the Spanish students to learn how the Spanish education system. Last Thursday while touring Almansa tourist visiting the castle and other monuments of the city and then were received by several councilors and the mayor of Almansa, Fermin Cerdan, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council. Cerdan welcomed them to all students and noted that this exchange is promoted coexistence and unity among the Europeans. Councilwoman Maria Jose Almendros ventured with French and wished them in that language “Almansa that you bear in your hearts forever.” The French teacher said Almansa is a very nice and very friendly and wanted to show his gratitude to the Institute for organizing everything so well. Professor of French sculptor Jos Luis S nchez IES who organized this exchange, rose Guijarro was also very pleased with the performance of activities to help promote coexistence between students from different countries and is a total language immersion that will help students to better know the language and customs Spanish and French. Knives and Asela Ana Moreno are two of the Almanse as students who participated in this exchange. They have 15 and 16 respectively and 4th ESO study at the Institute Sculptor Jos Luis S nchez. For Asela it was the first exchange and the second as Ana last year on exchange with the French town of Saint Medard. Both were very satisfied with this activity and claimed to want to go participate in an exchange next year.Ana explained that “through this exchange we had the opportunity to travel to France and visit Aubusson and we have also improved our level of French.” Asela and Ana also stressed that this trade had made new friends and had known the French customs.
